[Zooming into] TVB Sales Presentation 2010
Browsing through the list of Sales series for 2010, I came up to divide them into three categories: “anticipating”; “average interest”, “no interested”

I realise I never update this blog… *shame* yeah, it’s not that I’m so extremely busy or something.. just that I’m never in the mood too…
So what am I up to in the past weeks? I was busy with the Selena Li Official Website, drawing paintings on computer, playing Facebook games like Restaurant City & Cafe World, watching TVB series (I finished Beyond the Realm of Conscience, Born Rich, A Chip Off the Old Block), studying for exams… writing fics and stories (I’ll tell you more later) etc. Oh eh.. I’ve started watching Off Pedder again since episode 152 which I stopped from more than half year ago, I’ll do it slowly, sometimes the marathon-way.
I decided to blog a bit again, mostly about TVB… see next postings. And.. all happy new year!! Hope that 2010 will be a lucky year!
You can always follow me on twitter and know what I’m up to, I am a quite active twitter user.

I would love to share this song with you. Hins has slowly became one of my fav singers. The combination of him with one of the legend singer George Lam (Lam Chi Cheung) is magnificent, flawless. Perfect voices, matching beat and lyrics!

Yeah.. Selena Fansource is Selena Li Official Website now, check out, there’s an english & chinese version so people all over the world will be able to read and share with other fans. Of course the site is not finished (the chinese part), but I’ve worked very hard on it. Translating took me more time than designing the new layout.

I like watching Talent shows, and in Holland are a lot of talents too. Holland’s Got Talent 2009 was an amazing and entertaining show. I watched all the episodes, includes auditions. Damn, I agree so much with the judges, they are really fair and pick out the ones that really have talents. Henkjan Smit is the best judge, he really sees talents, Patricia Paay is sometimes too influenced by the performer’s charmes and too critical, Robert Ronday is the worst judge, he always agree with the other two and repeats what they say -_-’
In the semi-finals and finals, the judges do not have big influence, which I really pity. The audience cannot choose at all. Well, let’s talk about my favorite acts in the 3 semi-finals.

Oorlogswinter, is a Dutch movie produced by David Koolhoven, ‘Winter in Wartime’. It is a great success in Holland. Here goes my (short) thoughts about it.
Maybe because of the good reviews, I got too high expectations. And watching the slow scenes in the beginning, it did disappoint me a little bit. I noticed a few things. The lead actor, is a young boy, but his voice is really way different. It’s so mature. The other children did sound like children from their age.
Most scenes didn’t have any background music, so many silence did make it nervous. We also see the same kind of scenes, he’s either riding on his horse, either riding his bycicle. The whole movie is too white, no contrast.
Let’s talk about the acting. I noticed an English actor in this Dutch movie, he’s Jamie Campbell Bower, playing Jack. He’s also in New Moon movie as Caius, I really like him. He has short hair in here, he looks very good. His voice, his young face, his way of looking, his hair, he’s perfect for this role.
I think the lead actor, playing Michiel, is a normal guy, until his crying scenes. I realized how strong his acting is, so natural and well done. (His father’s death scene, his horse’s death…)

For those who are interested in the route I have to run for sport at our school, this: (it’s called plasloop ~ because you have to run around a plas = lake)
Dead tiring… and we have to complete it in a half hour…. which I always do.
